Project overview

True is an ESG consultancy that helps businesses align performance with purpose, guiding them towards positive impact for society and the planet. Their team came to us to design a complete brand and digital experience that would reflect their clarity of vision and commitment to driving meaningful change. The challenge was to create an identity that felt authoritative and professional while remaining approachable, human and inspiring.

Strategy

The strategy was to build an identity rooted in honesty and clarity, combining the trustworthiness of a Sage brand with the sense of direction of a Navigator. We developed a system that is minimal yet expressive, using simple, powerful forms to carry complex ideas with ease. This approach allowed True to communicate innovation and integrity while keeping the focus on their role as guides through the fast evolving world of sustainability.

Project details

The core of the identity is a distinctive wordmark supported by a suite of minimal icons, each representing one of True’s key values: collaboration, innovation, value, solutions, guidance and impact. These symbols form a flexible design language that can adapt across digital and print, building consistency while leaving space for creativity. Crisp typography and a restrained palette were chosen to reinforce clarity and professionalism.

Supporting imagery and colour were used to broaden the system and add human and environmental dimensions. Natural photography, abstract compositions and warm tones highlight True’s focus on business, people and planet working in harmony. The digital platform was designed to be clean and confident, presenting information with clarity while encouraging engagement. Together these elements create an identity that reflects True’s mission and gives them the tools to communicate their story of sustainable performance.
