Little Big Brew Co. came to us with nothing more than a name and a tight deadline. From the outset, it was clear this was going to be a collaborative journey, with the team eager to create something bold, different and full of character. Our role was to define the brand story, establish a shared creative vision and develop a visual identity that captured the brewery’s playful personality while standing strong on shelf and in bars.
Strategy
The strategy was rooted in clarity and personality. We needed to balance a simple parent brand with an expressive approach to the beers themselves. Through brand story workshops and visual Style Scapes, we aligned all stakeholders around a creative direction that was fresh and unconventional. The naming convention for the beers - short, memorable and unexpected - brought individuality and humour to the range, while reinforcing the distinctive voice of the brewery.

Project details
The core brand idea was inspired by the concept of scale, expressed through a simple pairing of one little object and one big object side by side. This playful device became the foundation for the wider visual system, ensuring the parent brand retained clarity while leaving room for the beers to shine. Each beer identity built on this framework with bold colour palettes and unconventional layouts that reflected the brewery’s appetite for standing out.
The first release, “Nigel,” set the tone with a striking lime green label and a diagonal split design placed at the front rather than the back of the bottle. The result was immediate impact on shelf and instant recognition for the brand. From pump clips to packaging, the system delivered consistency with personality, giving Little Big Brew Co. a distinctive voice in a crowded market.
