Clairo is reshaping the AI assistant space by designing closed-loop models that operate securely within a company’s own environment. Unlike open systems that rely on unsecured public data, Clairo connects to relevant databases and external knowledge sources to generate responses that are accurate, tailored and protected. Our role was to create an identity that expressed this breakthrough approach with clarity and imagination, reflecting a brand that is innovative, secure and distinct.
Strategy
The strategy centred on two key themes: precision and adaptability. Clairo needed an identity that conveyed technical rigour while also highlighting the flexibility of its closed-loop systems. By developing a design language rooted in structure yet capable of endless variation, we created a brand that feels both cutting-edge and trustworthy. The outcome positions Clairo as a progressive technology partner with a clear point of difference in a rapidly evolving market.

Project details
The identity begins with a bold initial C, drawn as a continuous line formed by ten anchor points and smooth Bézier curves. This creates a sense of perpetual motion and connectivity, symbolising the concept of the closed loop. From this foundation, the mark can be realigned and reshaped, producing countless variations while always remaining true to its original structure and line weight. This flexibility reflects Clairo’s ability to draw on diverse data sets to generate tailored solutions.
This adaptable framework extends across the brand ecosystem, with motion design bringing the shifting forms to life in digital applications. The result is a playful yet precise system that captures Clairo’s progressive spirit while reinforcing its focus on security and control. With a toolkit that spans from static print to dynamic animation, the identity ensures Clairo stands out as a trusted innovator in the world of AI.
